David uses a whole range of lead pencils from 9H to 9B, and completion of each piece of work can take several months from the point of visualisation to creation on paper. He admits it is a very lonely way of life, but it gives great satisfaction not only in seeing the finished work but also knowing that he is drawing attention to the plight of animals who cannot speak for themselves.
In his unique style, David combines the skill of the artist with the passion of the conservationist, supported by an ever growing band of collectors eagerly awaiting each new release.
